Continuous light flow
A luminous gradient moves through a continuous path with a soft halo. The line remains visible along its full length, without dots or particles orbiting components.
On the home page, this thread connects illustrations along the page. Its curves remain smooth, with intensity adapted to laboratory scenes, models and introductions. In the system map, lines follow the connections between components.

The theme is shared with the rest of the site. The flow can be paused and respects reduced-motion preferences. In LABS pages, it also pauses when the visual or browser tab is no longer visible.
A shared grid
The blue grid accompanies every page in both light and dark themes. Small areas brighten gently on the left and right without moving the grid. Transparent images reveal the background. Pause and theme preferences stay consistent across the home page, documentation and your research space.
